Positano & A Killer Red Dress
I had dreamed of visiting the Amalfi Coast for quite some time. The entire coast is absolutely stunning. Of all of the places we visited, Atrani was my favorite place we stayed. It looked like a fairytale land. But, no view compares to Positano.
When you arrive at the top of the hill in Positano it’s like you were dropped off in a post card. I had seen thousands of photos, stalked the town on social media, heard stories but nothing compared to actually being there. Literally jaw dropping beauty. The colors and the quaint streets just made me smile when we were there. I wasn’t even that annoyed when we waited two hours for our bus back to Praiano because it meant more time to admire the view.
Besides it being picture perfect, I was excited to check out the fashion scene in Positano. Gorgeous galleries, perfumeries, all of the gorgeous Italian linen you’ve ever dreamed of and some amazing boutiques. I felt as though Positano was the one place on my trip I really wanted to dress for. I didn’t really dress up the whole trip except for this day! I can’t imagine a more perfect dress to go with a more perfect town.
THIS red ruffled, cutout stunner is from Fame and Partners. It’s a made to order sustainable clothing brand (yes, really!!!!). That means, less production and in turn, no waste. They also make pieces from size 0-22 and can customize to your height as well (amazing, right!?). I absolutely fell in love with this dress when I saw it online and I was so thrilled to be wearing it in a town I had always wanted to go to. The fit and quality was perfection. I added a matching red lip and topknot to create a bold yet simple look for Positano. I know this may all sound cheesy to you, “why does it matter what she wore when she was there” you may be thinking… but to me, a good outfit, an outfit that you love and feel good in helps make memories and this Fame and Partners dress definitely did that for me! When you feel good about yourself and what you’re wearing, it makes everything breezier!
I hope one day to visit Positano again (next time maybe at a fancy hotel with an amazing view) and wear another dress even half as fun as this one. Until I have somewhere else to wear it to, I think I’ll wear this dress around my house…
