Music & Wine... What Could Be Better!?
A huge thank you to Cupcake Vineyards for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
By now you guys know that I spent last weekend at Chicago's huge music festival, Lollapalooza. It was hot, sweaty, and dusty pretty much everywhere! But, we found our sanctuary for the weekend. Underneath The Cupcake Vineyards Wine lounge there was shade, Rosé, and ice pops... What more could you ask for?!
The tent was filled with bright colored lanterns and tons of tables and couches you can gather around with your Lolla gang! Shaded underneath the tent was a Cupcake Bar that served Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc by the can and even more by the carafe (perfect for sharing)! During the weekend it reached up to the mid 90's here in Chicago, so my go-to refreshment was Cupcake's frozen Rosé, better known as frosé! Attempting to stay cool definitely got a little bit easier with a cold, delicious frosé in hand!! YUM!
Just outside of their wine lounge was the cutest bright yellow striped wine truck. Yes, a truck full of WINE! As you stepped up to the truck there was the cutest display of huge bottles of wine and ice pops! You could get your ice pops at this adorable spot! Right on the other side was a bubble machine, it made for a perfect Instagram-worthy photos!
It didn't take long before I discovered a little secret that made my whole weekend a little bit sweeter. After purchasing a can or bottle of wine, you could walk over to the truck for a complimentary ice pop. You could choose from some amazing flavors like hibiscus margarita, raspberry rosewater, grapefruit mint, and strawberry lemonade. You popped that ice pop (no pun intended) right into your glass of Sauvignon Blanc which was the perfect treat during these hot days!
As Lollapalooza continued for the four days, The Cupcake Vineyards Wine Lounge was deemed our go-to hangout spot. They even had oversized games like jenga, connect four, corn hole, and some other fun picnic games to keep us going! We were able to get out of the sun and refresh with some chilled (or even frozen) wine, definitely helped us survive this exhausting weekend and made it a lot more fun and delicious!
