Glam Up Your Jeans
I am ALWAYS in jeans... Work? Jeans. Dinner? Jeans. Event? Jeans! Sure, when you think of denim you may think it only works in very casual settings... But I don't think it has to be that way! I love dressing up my denim and honestly, I think it's pretty easy to do!
First, put on those high steppers! A pair of heels is going to instantly dress up your denim. Here I wore THIS pair of strappy heels. Since we've been having such amazing weather in Chicago, I figured, why not!?
My next piece of advice to dress up your jeans would be go with something classic on top with an unexpected twist. This way, people will barely pay attention to your jeans anyways! Here, I opted for THIS one shoulder blouse. Simple and elegant with a fun twist. I wanted to keep the look neutral so I topped it off with THIS wool coat (it's on sale!!) with a great faux shearling detail. The colors of the two top pieces played off each other perfectly!
Finally, throw on a great necklace! Here I went with the diamond collar necklace from my line, Just The 2 Of Us. It works perfect with any neckline and I absolutely loved it with the one shoulder top!
Don't be scared to glam up your jeans a bit! It's a great way to stay comfortable and look effortless and chic!
