Walking In My Designer Dreams

Ever since I can remember I have loved beautiful clothes and dreamt about wearing designer dresses. I remember being 12 years old and trying on a Matthew Williamson gown... I can still picture it. I'm the girl who would walk into Bergdorf Goodman, go straight to the room of designer dresses and just love looking and dreaming about the idea of one day being able to wear one (somewhere besides the dressing room, of course). I love walking into Lanvin on Oak Street just to admire the pieces. Never did I imagine I'd find myself actually wearing a Lanvin dress and Miu Miu heels out of a store until I found Designer Share. 

Designer Share is the only truly peer to peer place for women to rent their designer items to each other. Yes! You read that right! You can rent amazing designer pieces like these on a weekly basis and or you can rent out your gorgeous designer pieces to make some extra cash! It's the perfect way to have a stand out look for your next event, date or fancy dinner with your favorite girlfriends!

I had such a tough time choosing what I was going to wear to cocktails at The Peninsula when browsing the Designer Share website... I decided to go with something classic, fun and super fancy! I love to get dressed up but don't get much of an opportunity to do so. I felt like cocktails with my girlfriends was the perfect excuse to get dolled up! I got a blowout at Blowout Junkie, put on a bold red lip and slipped into this stunning tuxedo style Lanvin Dress with a plunging neckline and fun bow details on the leg and insane Miu Miu heels that I rented from Designer Share! I felt so feminine and edgy and I was beyond excited to be stepping out in Lanvin and Miu Miu. I literally felt like I was walking in my designer dreams! The dress and heels were delivered straight to my door (I mean, I love when my thai food gets delivered, so imagine how I felt when there was a knock on my door and these two pieces arrived!!!) Can you say every fashion girls dream?! They also scheduled a pickup time convenient for me and were there every step of the way to make sure things with delivery and pickup went smoothly. Thank you to Designer Share for making me feel amazing and making my designer dreams come true!
