You guys know how important it is for me to fit some good sweat time in each day! But sometimes carving out enough time to workout, go home and shower and continue with your day seems daunting! That’s why I wanted to share how I dress for the gym in order to workout and carry on (without looking super nasty)!

The first (and my favorite) step is choosing a pair of cute leggings and sneakers! Like most of you I’m sure, I live in my leggings, so I never feel bad when my collection grows! I have a slight workout legging obsession but I ain’t mad about it. I absolutely love this pair I picked up at Twigs! I like to keep the pants neutral to make putting the rest of the outfit together simple. I’m often in all black but I also love a subtle pattern like you see me in here! Keeping the leggings and changing out of my sweaty workout top is really the biggest look-changer! It also makes a big difference to take off your sweaty top to change into a fresh one! I like to keep it casual with a graphic tee and a great jacket. Whether it’s a sporty zip-up, a distressed denim jacket or an edgy leather jacket, have fun with it! The jacket will actually make you look, dare I say, fashionable post sweat!

The final step is a neutral baseball cap. My sweaty hair gets a little out of control, and girl, it needs to be tamed! I love to put on hoop earrings with a baseball cap just to make the look even more intentional! Who knew the power of a little Native deodorant, a clean shirt and a cap?! Not to talk myself up, but I sported athleisure (previously called, ew, that girl didn’t change after the gym) before it was a thing and thank goodness now it’s cool AND socially acceptable! HA!

I’ll always be here to give you another excuse TO workout!
