My 5 Favorite Shades of Lipstick
An easy way to add a little somethin somethin to any outfit is with lipstick! I'm not extremely adventurous when it comes to makeup, but a lip color is something I'm always willing to experiment with. While most days you'll find me with only Burts Bees on my lip, I do love to change up looks with my 5 favorite lip colors!
Red- A classic red is a must have. My favorite is, Vice by Urban decay. I like to wear a red lip with all black, casually or dressed up. I also love adding a red lip as a super simple way to dress up jeans and a white tee.
Hot Pink- I don't wear much pink, but I absolutely adore Nars' Carthage matte pink lipstick. It's such a fun way to add a pop of bright color to any look. I love wearing a pink lip with neutral colors and as a super fun pop in Summer with cutoff shorts!
Orange- YSL's Rouge Pur Couture is my favorite Summer or vacation color! It's bold, rich and unique and looks so good with other bright colors or neutrals!
Nude- MAC's High Tea is my favorite nude lip! It's just subtle enough and looks so chic with any dressed up look. I love doing a nude lip, bold lash and a tight pony for a chic, simple look for any night!
Dark Purple- If you want to go for something really bold, try Clinique's A Different Grape. I love a dark purple in Fall and Winter and dressed up during Summer nights. A dark purple lip looks amazing with a nude or camel colored look!
