Snowball 2017

Over the weekend, I attended Snowball with a few close girlfriends. We got all dolled up to help raise money and build awareness #ForTheKids. Snowball is an amazing black tie event for young professionals in Chicago. It hosted by Junior Council which supports the Pediatric and Adolescent HIV and AIDS programs of The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. This year it was held at The Field Museum with live music by Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press (they were seriously unbelievable... if you're ever looking for live music for an event, keep them in mind!) and bites from from of Chicago's best restaurants Oysters from Shaws, Ceviche from Tanta... you get the idea. Yum yum! The combination of 2,300+ young Chicagoans, great food, live music, good drinks and dancing for a good cause created one amazing night!

I was so happy to have fellow bloggers and good friends with me! Lauren of Lakeshore Lady, Olivia of Olivia Rink and Ashley of Sed Bona were my dates (if you don't know their blogs, definitely check them all out)! We spent the night dancing, chatting enjoying each others company and making many stops at the oyster station... It was so much fun I'm still replaying it in my head! You know it's a great night when all the sudden it's already 1am!

Saturday night I decided to step out of my colorless box and donned THIS gorgeous Rachel Allan Gown. I wanted to do something fun and unique! I loved the fringe beading in the back, the high neckline and of course, the high slit! It was the perfect dress for this event! I paired it with a dark red lip, a black sandal and a classic hair style. I got my hair done at Blowout Junkie and my hair turned out even better than I was picturing!

If you like supporting a great cause, dancing, eating, and getting dressed up I would absolutely recommend attending next years Snowball... it was a total blast! Thank you for putting on such a great event, Junior Council!

A few photos from Saturday night!
