My Every Day Must Haves for My Makeup Routine

must have beauty products

I’m gonna be real… I’m not a huge makeup girl. I find products I like and I stick to them! I just added eyeshadow to my routine last month (I’m hooked on THIS Charlotte Tilbury Palette). I pretty much do my makeup the same way every day. When I need to get dressed up, I just put on a little extra liner, bronzer and add a lipstick. I wanted to bring you guys my MUST HAVES for my makeup routine. These are the things that never leave my makeup bag and travel with my EVERYWHERE. I have a couple favorite mascaras, bronzers and foundations so I’ll list them all below and explain why I like each! I’ve been using all of these products for a minimum of 6 months (some I’ve been using for years) and have been nothing but happy with them. I have pretty sensitive skin and these products have given me no trouble. All the products are linked below (in order of how I apply them) and there’s a little shop tab at the bottom of this post for your convenience! ENJOY!

Step 1: Foundation, baby! Erborian CC Creme High Definition Radiance Face Cream Skin Perfecter + Erborian BB Creme + Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 35
These are the 3 products I use as my “foundation” The correction and moisturizing feel of the CC cream +the coverage of the Erborian BB cream and SPF of the Supergoop CC cream makes for the perfect combo for my skin. I was just using the Supergoop product for a long time but the color only worked well with a tan. So, incorporated the Erborian tinted product to even out the town and added the CC cream for the extra moisture and skin perfecting element. It allows my skin to look dewy without getting oily and shiny.

Step 2: Conceal that shit! Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer!
I’ve been prone to breakouts the last few years and I absolutely HATE having imperfections on my face. Red bumps, no thank you! To my dismay, they’re unavoidable. SO! I’ve tried what feels like a million concealers and last year finally found one that I’m obsessed with. I use this concealer on any breakouts or areas that may be patchy. It gives a smooth, natural look and helps to really cover imperfections.

Step 3: Bye Bye Dark Circles! Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller
Nobody likes dark circles and some days they’re just worse than others. The Garnier anti dark circle eye roller has been a game changer for me! It has caffeine in it so your eyes instantly not only look more awake but they feel it too! It also has a metal roller so it’s cooling and feels great to apply. My mom uses this now too and loves it!

Step 4: BRONZER & Highlighter! Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette Naked + Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Contour Duo
I’m a sucker for a great bronzer/highlighter duo. These two are BY DAR my favorites I’ve ever used and I switch off depending on the day. I think the Charlotte Tilbury duo is a bit more on the natural side which I love for every day. The Naked Palette is more pigmented and I like it for days when I like my bronzer to be a little more pronounced. I use the bareMinerals Flawless Application Face Brush to apply my bronzer! I love both highlighters in the duos! I apply it on my cheekbones, brow bones and a litttttttle bit on my nose! I use the bareMinerals Expert Shadow & Liner Brush to apply my highlighter!

Step 5: My new addition… EYESHADOW! Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette
Like mentioned above, I only started using eyeshadow about 2 months ago. I’ve been using the palette linked above and I love the natural look of it! I use the lightest color all over my lids and in the corners of my eyes. I then use the medium brown in the outside creases for a little dimension. When getting dressed up, I make it a littler darker. I am NO PRO when is comes to shadow but I do know that I love the colors in this palette.

Step 6: Wing that liner!!! Tarte Maneater Liquid Liner
I’ve tried my fair share of liquid liners and this has been my favorite! Funniest part? They were handing them out at a Christmas concert last year and I happened to have just run out of eyeliner. Timing is everything, right!? The felt tip applicator is the perfect size and allows you to create a smooth line. Plus! It stays put all day!

Step 7: Bat Those Lashes , girlfriend! Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara + L'Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara + Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
I’ve gone through what feels like hundreds of different mascaras throughout the years. I’m lucky to have long lashes but I milk them as much as I can to make them VA VA VOOM! These are my current 3 favorites!!! The Charlotte Tilbury is my every day mascara. It separates and lengthens your lashes pretty damn perfectly. I also love the LOreal Lash Paradise which IMO is the best drug store mascara on the market. So, if you’re looking for something less expensive, this is your answer FOR SURE. The Urban Decay Perversion Mascara is a major thickener. I generally put a layer or two of this on over my Charlotte Tilbury mascara when I want some serious volume.

Final Step: Brow Addict! Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil Easy Shape & Fill
Ya’ll probably now by now that I’m a total freak about my eyebrows. The best compliment someone can give me is that my eyebrows look good. (I know, I’m weird!) I did have my eyebrows micro bladed last year which made a huge difference! But, I still fill them in a little almost every day and fill them in a bit darker when I’m getting dressed up. I’ve been using Goof Proof for years and I pray they never stop making it. It’s the perfect, thicker tip, crayon style eyebrow pencil. It has just enough of a waxy consistency so it goes on easy, natural and stays put! I use shade #1 which is the lightest and it’s perfect for a blondie like me.

Take it all off: Last February I was sent THESE Almay makeup removing wipes and THESE eye makeup removing pads in a mailer and became instantly hooked. The wipes are the most gentle and actually feel cooling and hydrating. My skin feels amazing after using them. With my day to day makeup, I only use the wipes. I add the eye makeup removing pads only on days I’ve worn heavier eye makeup which isn’t so frequent. I can’t say enough good things about these gentle on your skin makeup removing products!
