3 packing tips for a weekend getaway.
TIP ONE: PLAN YOUR OUTFITS
I know this may sound simple... but coming from a chronic over packer, planning your outfits is KEY. It helps you avoid throwing in those extra things that "you'll probably wear" and never, ever do. It also makes it much easier getting dressed in the morning! No more dilly dallying and changing 3 times before you go out the door. This way you have your outfits all ready to go. Don't over do it though. One outfit per day and another outfit for each night you're going out.
TIP TWO: ROLL IT UP
We all know those funny crevices left in our suitcase after you put in the folded clothes. They're weird and hard to fill. SOLUTION: Roll things up! Pajamas, tank tops, anything that won't get wrinkled. Roll it up and it will perfectly fill all those cracks!
TIP THREE: STUFF IT!
I've never been a huge fan of packing nice shoes or bags because they take up a ton of space and I'm always afraid that they'll get bent out of shape. UNTIL! I started stuffing my accessories! Stuff your shoes and purses with socks, underwear, workout clothes and whatever else you still have yet to pack! It's the perfect way to save space and avoid damaging your favorite shoes that you can't spend the weekend away from.
