A Few of my Current Favorite Beauty Products

hair-and-skincare-products

Ok you guys, I really am not a product whore. When I find things I like, I stick to them. It's rare that I add new products to my routine. These are some of my current favorite products that I have added to my routine in the last year. I had to share with you because they are just too good not to. From left to right, the products are listed here:

TULA's Pro Glycolic PH resurfacing gel- this is a new product for TULA. It's an alcohol-free toner (I'll be honest, before this I never used a toner in my skincare routine but it was always something I felt I should add). This gel uses probiotics and glycolic acid to help balance the skin move it towards it's ideal pH. What does that mean? Pretty much, it helps keep your skin smooth, super hydrated and protected. I've noticed such a difference in my skin since using it. My skin is honestly smoother than it's ever felt. You use this product right after cleansing before you apply your moisturizer.

Le Labos Ambrette 9I have never been one to wear perfume until I found Le Labo about 4 months ago. Most perfumes are too strong for me and tend to give me a headache. Le Labo doesn't smell like your typical perfume. The scents are more sophisticated and not as strong (if that makes sense) Ambrette 9 is also the lightest of their scents. The best part? No animal testing whatsoever!

Kevin Murphy's Doo.OverI have very fine hair so a good texturizing spray is a must for me otherwise (as my mom says) I'm a flathead. This product is called a "dry finishing spray". Not only does it help give your hair great texture but is also removes oil and also has a light hold. I use this pretty much every day!

M-61 Power Glow Eye Cream- This one is not a tough sell!  Want an eye cream that actually helps smooth the skin under your eyes and helps to decrease the appearance of fine lines and those infamous dark circles? Well, here ya go! This eye cream uses glycolic acid, vitamin K, bilberry and aloe to help do just that.

MAC's Prep + PrimeThis was one product that as an outsider I always called BS. You mean, you pray mineral water on your face and it makes things different? Sure.... Or so I thought. 2 months ago I went on a weekend girls trip. One of my best friends is a makeup artist and she was using this. She let us all use it that weekend and I was hooked. I spray my whole face after I apply my makeup. It sets my makeup, makes it stay in place much longer and gives my skin that glow that I always wondered how women had. It also feels so refreshing. Safe to say I'm hooked.

Living Proof's Perfect Hair Day Dry ShampooFor the same reason as a texturizing spray, I can't live without dry shampoo. With such fine hair it gets oily really fast so dry shampoo for me is  a must. I have probably used a dozen different dry shampoos in the last couple of years and this one is by far my favorite. It makes your hair look, feel and smell clean and fresh. It actually removes oil, sweat and odor leaving your hair feeling light and clean for the whole day.
